Unfortunately the more it rains, the more frogs end up in the swimming pool.<\/p>\n<p>The latest is the Striped Marsh Frog ( <em><span class=\"Plain\">Limnodynastes peronii <\/span><\/em>) in the pool net above along with his little buddy a Common Eastern Froglet ( <em>Crinia signifera <\/em>). What a size difference and both frogs are full grown adults!<\/p>\n<p>I found the Striped Marsh frog one morning safely snuggled in &#8220;the cave&#8221; formed by a section of broken pebblecrete.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.frogsaustralia.net.au\/frogs\/display.cfm?frog_id=40\" target=\"_blank\">Information about the Striped Marsh Frog<\/a> <em>( link to Frogs Australia Network Database)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mybackyard.info\/backyardblog\/audio\/striped_marsh_frog.mp3\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Frog Call<\/strong><\/a> <em>(mp3)<\/em><\/p>\n[audio:striped_marsh_frog.mp3]\n<p><em><font color=\"#dcf4cc\">Crinia signifera calling from the pool<\/font><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mybackyard.info\/backyardblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/02\/crinia_pool.jpg\" alt=\"Common Eastern Froglet\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Later that night, the frogs were calling from the pool area once again.
